Supporting RACHEL’S LEGACY

THE RACHEL BROWNE SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND

The School of Contemporary Dancers (SCD) Professional Program is recognized as one of the leading professional contemporary dance training programs in Canada.  Throughout its history, Rachel served as a core faculty teacher.  She had a profound influence in the training of young artists through her outstanding gifts as a rehearsal director.  Rachel followed the progression of the students with great interest and enthusiasm and they were deeply honored to be able to work with her.

It was one of Rachel’s fondest wishes to have an endowment scholarship fund established to support our young dancers

in making the important transition from students to emerging professional artists.  Through the Rachel Browne Scholarship Endowment Fund, her wish will be realized and her influence will continue to support generations of young artists in the years to come.  We are delighted to continue to honor Rachel’s tremendous legacy through this scholarship.
